Ceramic extruded drawing
-Each piece starts as a drawing in my sketchbook. I will then redraw the sketch on newsprint and trace that drawing using clay coils that I extrude from an extruder. (Think play-doh extruder that you played with as a kid!).
After I fire the kiln with the clay drawing, I am left with a 3-d clay drawing based on my original sketch!
Each piece is surprisingly durable (as long as you don't drop it) and hangs easily on the wall using two nails.
