I had the pleasure to design a hat for this years BMO Artist Hat Series brought to you and curated by All Star Press.
I wanted to turn the iconic bull into one of my characters where people could see themselves in the bull. The back of the hat says “Life is an alley-oop”. A heartfelt phrase with a nod to the sport, an alley-oop is a play in basketball where one player passes the ball to another player midair and that player dunks the ball. It’s a move that requires teamwork, communication, and timing. Its a performance! Just like life!
